Initial Jedi grinding requires a small bit of planning but its easy enough without Nyms. You're squishy when you're levelling up and you don't want vis - but you're not going to get on to the terminals just by running into a few NPCs. Its best to go to planets where you can avoid large amounts of vis that don't have many players or NPCs (cough, Mustafar). If you get a small group together, you can go out and kill spawns in the wild to gain exp. I don't think the intent is that its an easy grind.

Nym's was a huge crutch for players to avoid spending time grinding out Jedi (bypassing any risk involved in the profession - i.e. the whole vis system).

Edit: There are still a good few repeatable quests out there that are pretty low risk.

So it's a bit more than just a "few" npcs. Try not to understate things and be more accurate. It's 77 kills for 1 tier box and it doubles pretty much thereafter. Tier 1= 77, Tier 2= 154, tier 3= 308, tier 4= 616, Master=1232. Total kills to master a jedi profession is approximately 4235 npc kills, whether you are in a group on mustafar or not. It's true a few npc will not get you on the terminal, but a few thousand will. In contrast to a regular Elite profession it takes a small fraction to master. Now I do understand there is supposed to be a disparity. I'm not asking for an easy grind, I'm just asking for it to be within reason. You're right killing 4235 npcs is easy, but it's mindless easy. It's cannon fodder easy, maybe give us something more challenging that is actually fun.
Don't be condescending when you didn't read what I wrote properly. I didn't say that you only need to kill a few NPCs. Read it again. If you're gaining large amounts of vis while grinding you're not doing it properly. You don't grind on NPCs but creatures so you avoid vis.

I can't check right now but those numbers seem off, especially if you have rested xp.

Best of luck with your player voice and future player voices if you can't take any form of criticism (nor read it properly to begin with).

If you're grinding xp by just killing npcs over and over, you're playing the game wrong. This not the intended method of anyone leveling, missions and quests exist to accelerate the leveling of anything. Addin the 1.5x rested multiplier and Flush with Success ent buff and its very easy to level anything, including jedi, currently. If anything I would almost want jedi to get less experience. Even with 1 million xp loss on a pvp death, thats maybe an hour to regain with a proper jedi group.

Just stop with the victim mentality, I don't care if the Jedi grind is made any easier, I just don't think it needs to be and I have the right to think that, just as you have the right to your opinion.

As I said there are other repeatable quests if you want to avoid any sort of risk, e.g. 4 meatlump quests that give 500k+ Jedi exp per.

Don't project your victim mentality on me. You were the one complaining about condescension in the first place. You are free to express your opinion, just don't understate facts just to try to advance your position on a subject. I'm not making myself to be a victim because I want to increase xp, I'm just putting into question if such a low amount of xp awarded to creature/npc deaths makes sense. There is however a dynamic involved with a certain very VOCAL minority who have a pull that is WEIGHED VERY heavily in their favor for some reason, and I am just very accurately pointing that dynamic out to you guys and I'm warning you, that if this continues down this road, no one will want to play with you guys.
Plenty of jedi have done the grind with the low amount of xp you describe and nobody had complained about it till now , so yes you are acting like a victim , and by the way you might want to start on a PV to remove jedi XP loss on death , because I'm sure you will cry about that also 🤡

Jedi isn't like any other profession, it has a lot of luck, grinding, and quests involved designed to slow players down and turn away the unwilling. It is by design hard to obtain and master as it is an alpha profession that is supposed to be rewarding for the investment incurred. Making any aspect of it easier will just increase the amount of active jedi on the server which already is at a rather high percentage of the active playerbase.

Also it would be better to try to discuss the visibility system itself rather than focus on an xp bonus for killing enemies which cause visibility.

Jedi XP being limited from kills is quite sensible due to the nature of the class making it far more efficient at clearing large swaths of mobs rapidly. Balancing of Jedi is still an ongoing process and all i see here is a request for a step back from the progress made.

Jedi are limited for good reason. Officers are limited for good reason. Trying to alter aspects of the game without considering how it effects the whole game is sure to cause issues in any mmorpg.

Full disclosure: I don't have a Jedi character; HOWEVER, I have leveled and helped level (including friends w/Jedi) many combat characters. Killing NPC's is one of the most inefficient ways of leveling. Besides that, Jedi is supposed to be earned, and not easily.
