Today marks a significant milestone in the history of this project. More than sixteen years ago, a dedicated team set out with a simple yet ambitious vision: to preserve the magic of Star Wars Galaxies and Restore it to its rightful glory. From the early days of Restoration I, this project has evolved considerably, growing stronger through every chapter, overcoming challenges, and learning from valuable experiences along the way.
With this evolution in mind, we are proud to announce the next chapter in our journey.
Henceforth, this project will be known as SWG Restoration IV!
Restoration IV represents more than just a new name—it symbolizes a renewed commitment to the original visions for the project; it's the next leap forward to maximum Restoration. We want to honor our founders and the Restoration they wanted to do by Restoring even harder. Four times harder!
This new chapter acknowledges the remarkable and tumultuous journey we've shared over the layered history of Restoration. With the most recent updates now in-game, a growing team excited to push forward, and a community yearning for more Restoration, we knew it was time for R4. It positions us to take the project to unprecedented levels of Restoration.
