Proposal
Proposing to have other entertainer abilities like /centerstage or /swirl added to the protected list for the macro dump.
Justification
If the entertainers use anything other than flourishes, it triggers the macro dump and makes entertainers boring. Would be great to be able to make more interesting macros for my entertainer
Motivation
It would be great to be able to make more interesting macros for my entertainer than just spamming flourishes. I personally like to write a macro that does the swirl effect on the person I'm inspiring. It serves as 2 functions. 1, to let them know that they're up, and 2, if they're AFK or not paying attention because they're waiting for the buff to count up, the flashy colors on their screen can get their attention. If I use this macro though, it puts me into the macro dump and then my flourishes will eventually die if I'm not paying attention.

I'd also love to be able to make outfit change macros for my entertainer, but I don't believe I can do that because you have to use /ui action toolBarSlotXX and that will trigger the dump, and clothing doesn't have an /equip X item ability... do they? So is there a way to have entertainers be free of the macro dump if they're actively playing/dancing? And if the character isn't actively doing those things before the macros start, THEN it would trigger the macro dump?
Hello,
According to Macro Protections article (link: https://swgr.org/wiki/macro-protect...ill be dumped, and doctors to remain connected. ) it shows all of the acceptable actions that can be placed into a macro that won't activate the macro dump. For the entertainers the flourishes are protected. Is it possible to add the other things like the /centerstage or swirl, etc... to that list? Adding entertainer effects to the exempted commands is doable. Adding toolbar slots or wearable changes is not due to the implications to combat and other game systems. The level of rework required to achieve that would be somewhat extensive for a feature used by so few.

Aconite even though it is extensive, it might make entertainer more attractive and increase numbers. Would you consider adding things like them being able to set up temporary game tables to give them a more attractive appeal. Not sure if these types or things are doable or not.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how easy it would be for "non-combat" toolbars to be created. What about creating a new command like "/equipAppearance" and you add something to the radial on clothing items where you can set a name to, similar to naming macros and the "equip" command only effects items that work on appearance? Just trying to think of ways to make entertainer professions more engaging, and adding the entertainer effects to the exempt commands is a great start!
