Proposal
As a DWB drop we add a limited-use schematic for Basilisk War Droids or simply allow the crafting of the Basilisk War Droids.
Justification
Basilisk War Droids are amazing things in lore and would be great in Restoration.
Motivation
Adding them would also add some love for Mandalorians and those who role-play them. And really, I'd just like a besu'liik.
Basilisk Wars Droids were part of SWG in Live and are an important part of Mandalorian lore.

They'd add a bit of variety to the speeders that we have now, and being one of the slower speeders wouldn't be the most popular outside of Mandalorians.

It should be a dungeon/boss drop then require a DE to be crafted
Big downvote to this, but not to the idea of adding more droids.
Why do we have crafters in a game if the end game items are all looted by combatants, and all the crafter does is assemble it for them?
I know we already have a lot of this, particularly in space. I don't like it.

Simply because if you make it a default schematic for DE without the looted component it will be as common as any swoop speeder and i dont think that makes sense for a cool/unique mount like that

A good middle ground would be adding a DE collection, like the SW collections, that rewards the schematic(possibly repeatable with limited uses?). Makes it not 100% available, but attainable by the crafter independently as well.

OK, I get that. The easiest way to limit availability is to make some aspect looted/reward.
I suppose my issue is why the combat char should be doing the looting/reward? Why not the crafter?
What if we did this, if a DE makes a successful DWB crafting run, the reward is a Basilisk War Droid schem?

I like that idea a lot and it would give DE a nice edge that the class sorely needs.

Plus it would impact the economy in various beneficial ways by getting more crafters involved in content beyond sitting in their dungeons.

Kind of a rabbit hole because the crafter still needs combat chars to protect him during the whole crafting run, but yea maybe a repeatable collection after crafting X pieces of mando armor? i could support that

I agree with this 100%. Adds to the RP and lore of the droids and makes them a rare and difficult to acquire thing as they should be. Also encourages the community aspect as you will need to get a group of friends together to farm it. Totally support this idea

I can confirm all droids that aren’t currently implemented are staged for implementation through content that hasn’t yet been released. The basilisk war droid will be included in the PvP area expansion of the Death Watch Bunker.
