- Proposal
- One of the biggest things which stopped me queuing on the battlefield system previously is the way you have to queue.
I am more of a solo player and to que up for battlefields this required coordination and effort to make it work. It took effort from myself and others to organise and actually get started and play them. Which is using a system which is a bit clunky.
When you compare this kind of thing to swtor where it’s super easy to que, you learn about it as you start the game (level 10 I think), it provides you with everything you need to get into the early game ones at least etc.
I just feel this could be a bit more user friendly, by adding things like a solo group queue; This could also broadcast in restorations discord lfg channel that x players are joining the solo queue to encourage others to do so?
Then as people are ported to the battlefield as they are starting they could be separated into groups which could be auto formed as it enters you into the area’s starting point.
To make this work I believe it would need to do a it does a special group tef mechanic so you can be mixed groups of imp's / reb's and neutral's.
- Justification
- Just to create a more engaging experience for all players new and old and allow them an easier access into battlefield game mechanics.
- Motivation
- To encourage more people to get involved into pvp and pvp battlefields.
As folks here maybe aware I have been recently getting into battlefields, and whilst playing them noticed a couple of things which I think could be improved to encourage more player time investment from both new players and vets alike.
I have separated these into different category's so they can be discussed in isolation as I don't want one idea to be blocked but in turn prevent another been implemented.
This one is to implement a solo queue system
(also envision this is the most challenging one to implement)
