Be able to equip weapon appearances as well as armour and clothing
This idea/suggestion is Open. You can respond to ask questions or discuss the idea and either vote it up or down if you believe it should or should not be implemented, respectively. Popular suggestions and ideas will be considered by the development team to become reality in-game.

Be able to equip weapon appearances from the radial menu. Sounds not important
Justification
Some weapons are useless but look cool
Motivation
Some weapon skins are rarely used in game
I just think it would be cool.

Or just make it so WS can choose to make the weapon kinetic or energy.

Or even better, introduce PSGs that can have kinetic protection then this problem is (mostly) solved.

Give weaponsmiths the ability to deconstruct any weapon for its appearance and then craft any other weapon (same class) with the appearence skin of the deconstructed weapon
