- Proposal
- Provide a way to change a player characters species selection. This could potentially take the form of a veteran token reward of adequate value, a limited or one use per account or character voucher, or a quest reward such as Ridth’s collection completion if one character on the account has already activated the additional character slot.
- Justification
- Additional playable species have been teased for some time here by the Devs. Many if not most players could already have 3 or 4 well established characters by the time these are available and then be faced with the decision to delete an existing character to switch to one of the new options.
- Motivation
- Provide a way for players with established characters to change to the new species or other original species without having to reset that characters PAAS progress, no-trade items, bio-linked items, badge progress, and housing.
I think that the option to keep established characters would be valuable to the player base. Some may argue that there is the possibility to use the fourth character slot for the new races, but there are plenty of players that have expressed no interest in Jedi. Many of us that have been here for years already have three very well-established characters, who could not be deleted at a whim without a large impact on the progress we have made. With so many high value veteran token rewards, I feel like this option is not out of the question for an additional offering if the coding side of things is not out of reach.
