GCW Space Battle Quests/Missions
This idea/suggestion is Open. You can respond to ask questions or discuss the idea and either vote it up or down if you believe it should or should not be implemented, respectively. Popular suggestions and ideas will be considered by the development team to become reality in-game.

Proposal
Allow for players to pick up quests to earn additional GCW and tokens similar to the defend barricade and turret quest from ground invasions but at space battles.
Justification
Add more ways to earn GCW and make beginning of space battles more interesting.
Motivation
To make the game better.
Allow for players to pick up quests to earn additional GCW and tokens similar to the defend barricade and turret quest from ground invasions but at space battles. Examples: shoot down 10 tier 7 ships at space battle and bring down enemy ace. Quest done SF earn double.

I like the idea and it might be a good start point to expand upon player experiences with space battles.

Would hope that it doesn't end here. These things should be a fairly big deal as it establishes control over the orbit and skies of those respective planets.

As of right now they do have some impact, general abilities doing less damage, but are lackluster and simply a part of the grind. Would be nice as you suggested to have a bit more involvement in them ie quests, to start with.

Definitely something that needs to explored further. Space should have its own Naval ranks such as Commodore, Rear Admiral and Admiral and their own space related abilities like calling in wingmen etc.

100% agreed, eventually that may come to be. As of this moment getting these different concepts or ideas on the books is the important part. Just need Jedi to get finished up so that we can explore some of the other content ideas.

Maybe a ranking system for each battle would be better with top 5 contributers getting bonus tokens and GCW?
Make it more competative rather than easy grind?
 
The idea of this player voice is for something simple and easy for the devs to do , not create an entire system from scratch. That way we actually might get it implemented

Which is exactly what you are asking for. Think about it.... your asking for missions to be created and added mechanics. Where would you get the missions... what would they be. how would they be implemented. It would mean a lot more changes and addional systems been added to the invasions. A leaderboard however is a lot easier to implement that what you are suggesting.

Unless source is a bigger pile of shit than I think it is. This is just not true.

Yes it is, but also that’s not relevant.

Devs will come down on the coding side, we are here to discuss the merits of the idea itself; pros, cons, loopholes, etc.(this part is not directed at you Chiraka, just in general)
 
I like all these ideas. I'm good with adding simple quests for rewards and the idea is a leaderboard sounds like great fun. I'd hope to see all of these things in the future.
