Give my abilities priority over pet's abilities (auto firing)

Proposal
Allow the player's queued ability to override the pet's queued ability, or at least stay queued. Currently if I queue an ability, the pet's auto-activated ability can fire first, which then completely removes my ability from the queue, resulting in button spamming. I'm asking for my ability to remain in the queue, it can fire before or after the pet's ability, I really don't care, but my ability having priority would be preferred. The goal is to press my ability only 1 time and have it fire (eventually) rather than button spamming or manually firing pet abilities (one way or another).
Justification
having to manually fire the pet abilities is such an annoying pain when an auto-fire mechanic is already there. If you use the auto fire, you must button mash.
