Proposal
Increase the Instance durations by 30 minutes which is the current timer + a food / travel buffer in cases of death etc.
Justification
The current instance durations don't seem quite in line with NGE clear times. We do less damage here compared to NGE so I think an increase in duration would help balance that out a little bit.
Motivation
Losing buffs on death means downtime is punished heavily when buffs need to be reapplied.
Also, once a tank runs out of fill, they are basically done at that point and have to wait ~30mins (half of the instance time) to be useful again.
Let's get the Instance Durations increased, just by 50% for now as a travel / fill buffer.
I have seen some DF2 groups run out of time on a few occasions as well, so this would allow a better chance of success server wide.

I’m more concerned instances are taking that long to begin with. I don’t think we want instances to take >an hour (excluding some special ones like Hoth/Echo Base that is 2). Longer than an hour is quite the commitment. I’d like to gather some additional metrics on this and circle back.

I see your point, Aconite, and I think it's valid. There are a few ways to address the issues for sure. Some are more complicated than others.
A simple solution is to increase the time and see if that increases rates of success, it can always be experimental and see how it goes from there. There are still things to figure out and test with on mechanics of the later Mustafar instances so this would reward that as well.

Some more complicated solutions for example:
Dying in an instance doesn't remove buffs - there isn't as long as a down time, on top of the travel.
Cloners at the entrances could help (although maybe you get locked out to enter if someone is in combat).
Half fill (i.e you apply 25 fill instead of 50 from the food) while in the instance - interesting but could possibly be abused.
