- Proposal
- I propose the introduction of a new feature that allows building owners to remove vendors from their structures.
- Justification
- If you have a shared building and a player who has vendors down goes inactive the vendor is stuck there for a long time until it finally runs out of credits.
- Motivation
- This suggestion is motivated by the challenges posed by the current system, which can dissuade building owners from allowing other players' vendors in shared locations.
To encourage the development of more malls and group designs while still providing protection for building owners if a player stops playing, I propose introducing an option for building owners to remove vendors from their structures. This feature would help prevent inactive players' vendors from occupying valuable space. Currently, vendors incur a cost to operate, but for only about 200k, the vendor could remain for nearly a year.
Currently, vendors from inactive players can occupy these spaces for extended periods, potentially hindering active players' opportunities to utilize these areas effectively. By allowing building owners to remove inactive vendors, we ensure that space is continually available for engaged players, thereby maintaining a dynamic and efficient game environment. This adjustment will benefit building owners by giving them greater control over their spaces and enhancing the overall player experience with localized locations for player vendor sales.
The fear that an inactive player’s vendor might remain in the space for an extended period discourages owners from providing space for vendors in the first place. By introducing the ability to remove inactive vendors, we address this concern directly, making it more feasible for building owners to collaborate and share space without the risk of being stuck with unutilized, inactive vendors. This change aims to foster a more cooperative and active environment, improving space management and player engagement.
By adding this new option, building owners will have greater control and flexibility in managing their spaces, while encouraging the growth of city centers on the server.
