This idea/suggestion has been flagged as Not Implemented because of a lack of popularity, lack of interest, lack of feasibility, or other determination by the Development Team, so the suggestion will not be implemented. Proposal
Replace the PvP Decay Reduction inspiration buff with a PvP AoE Reduction inspiration buff.
Justification
One of the issues in large group pvp is it turns into an AoE fest, and unlike some other games there is no diminish of the damage on hitting multiple targets. In the NGE engine, there were stats to mitigate AoE damage, but with the CU combat system there is currently not.
Motivation
With the addition of moof mud, PvP Decay Reduction is now entirely useless. Even before the change, people with high end pvp sets would prefer to push the limit in pvp rather than preserve their investment(my ent toon has never given this buff over two months before the moof change).
The exact specifics of: inspiration point cost, % reduction, how many 'levels' the buff has, and which AoEs are affected, are wheels to easily be turned by devs to both test and fine tune some form of AoE reduction for PvP.
