- Proposal
- Adjust the "locked container" mini-game (when using the lock breaker booster), to only allow for 3 total codes, each with a max of 3 digits. Currently the booster reduces potential codes to 3 total, but with a 4 digit puzzle as the norm minus some random occasional RNG lessening. (easy change, right?!)
- Justification
- Assuming this is easy to implement (ie something that could be implemented without a ton of effort) it would help to balance the locked container more in line with the other 4 mini-game puzzles, in terms of time/cost of solving. Currently the container isn't fun or challenging to solve, just extremely time consuming for the sake of being time consuming. Losing a couple of digits won't fundamentally altar the gameplay, just make it a little more tolerable/worth doing, especially with the RNG associated with the collections therein.
- Motivation
- I posit that it has always been a problem, in that it was implemented on live then just sort of forgotten about. The motivation is simply a gameplay enjoyability calculation and a time/cost vs reward balance that this game loves to toe the line of.
Having completed these quests numerous times, and becoming a self-proclaimed expert on the meatlump, a slight change is politely requested. To streamline the Meatlump questline experience, a slight change in the "locked container" mini-game is needed to bring it more in line with the other parts of the missions from a time/enjoyment standpoint.
