Reduce the Skill Point cost of Starting Professions

Proposal
Lower the skill point cost of starting professions IE: Artisan, Entertainer, Scout, Medic, Brawler, and. Sharpshooter. I would like every single tree up to Master to be cheaper, but c'est la vie that is too big of an ask.

Even changing just Novice Brawler + Scout or Sharpshooter (Not Medic) from 15 to 8 skill points would help immensely and would bring the game closer mathematically to what it was in PreCU and CU.
Justification
Most professions in PreCU to CU only took one tree to learn their Novice Skill. Unlike this system which not only has a strong requirement to get at least some healing but also takes more. This stifles character builds greatly and makes it hard to have profession variety. Currently most players if not all of them are playing the same classes or something similar.

This is mostly my concern with the game with the inclusion of the Jedi profession, which still has its old requirements and is extremely strong compared to what it was before. I didn't realize that Jedi would be so easy to grind, quicker than both Master Pilot and most if not all of the GCW ranks.

If this concern isn't met, I foresee a future where people only play Jedi, as the death penalty is somewhat of a joke in my opinion especially compared to what it was in Precu and CU.

This change would make it more similar to what requirements for classes were in PreCU and closer to the cost of Jedi Skills.
Motivation
If the meta ends up being everyone plays Jedi, I will be frank I will lose interest in the game because that doesn't sound fun. I play restoration for making my character unique compared to everyone else, and currently because the meta is stale and Jedi is so strong compared to everyone else and frankly pretty easy to grind compared to even GCW it will become even more stale unless big changes happen.

I think Jedi is way too easy to grind and since there is no way for a Non-Jedi to gain that power and options like GCW are a bigger grind and don't give you as much and decays, its pretty hard to stay motivated.
My previous post had everything out of order and was made at 2 AM so I re-did it to explain further because it seemed people were confused by my ranting and didn't understand my post.

I’m not really clear what issue is being addressed here? The lack of versatility in builds? If master boxes are so worthless, as you say, that makes it pretty easy to diversify. Some of the best specs only master a profession to counter armor encumberance.

The Jedi angle isn’t great because they have both a lack of versatility and a soft alpha class design, so yes they should be on the upper end of strength.

Halving the SP of novice boxes will get in average one tree of an adv prof. So maybe get everyone x4xx cm? I don’t see a huge advantage, would much rather see more valuable choices put into trees then just being able to take more trees.

1) Lack of Versatility. Yeah, even if everyone can be that, there are not many viable builds in the game because it unfortunately was designed with healing in mind. The combat isn't slow and methodical like PreCU and people seem to die as fast as they do in NGE, so yeah, it requires healing. It doesn't take a big brain to see it, everyone knows, bla bla bla.

2) I mentioned Master only because it takes that many Skill Points to go from Novice to Master. I am not saying to make Master good, I am saying it might make it more of a choice, when currently it isn't even something to consider.

3) Jedi only requires 24 Skill Points to start to take their Novice Skills and don't really have any death penalty, even as a soft Alpha class they are actually more powerful it seems than they were in CU, minus all the penalties they had to have in the past. They are not even Knights, so I shudder to think what they will become in the future.

I dont even know where to start with this , you start off complaining about Artisan , Scount , Brawler , Sharpshooter taking 72 points , then you go off complaining about Jedi , then about GCW, then about not wanting to be forced to be a Jedi , which btw nobody is forcing you into anything , then you go about Jedi death penalty not being harsh enough , im here because i want to play Star Wars Galaxies with some fixes that the live game needed for example 90% composite armor if anybody remembers how unbalanced that was , what you always propose are far fetch ideas and i have no interest in playing some bastardized version of SWG with all your "ideas"

I really have no idea what this PV is hoping to accomplish. The only thing I can figure is that you are unaware that you can "unlearn" those starter professions and recover the skill points to use elsewhere.

Frankly when I posted it and went to sleep I realized after waking up a few hours later that it was entirely posted out of order making it a confusing mess. That wasn't what it was all about, so please re-read it.

Actually you are wrong. If you have ever played a video game that is online and not a solo game which it seems you are referencing: Meta's force people to play competitively or quit the game. If Jedi is easy to grind and 10x stronger than every other class, that just means you play a Jedi or quit because the game will be balanced around the strongest not the weakest.

If you play a class that is 4x weaker than every other class, you won't be able to find a group in most online games.

This information is strange, looking at the Jedi skill trees because not only are they cheaper to get to they seem to have better versions of skills than every other class. This surprises me because that is the opposite of little versatility, in-fact I think they are a little too versatile, but I digress.
