Remove gender requirements from all clothing

Proposal
The primary change would involve removing the designation of clothing items as exclusively for male or female characters. This change would enable all characters, regardless of gender selection, to wear any clothing or armor available in the game.

Implement a unified clothing system where all items are accessible and wearable by any character. This includes armor sets, outfits, accessories, and any other wearable items within the game.

If there are specific issues, make it work how the Wookie and Ithorian items are, and they simply become invisable and can be later be fixed.
Justification
Respecting Player Agency: Players often seek freedom and control over their in-game avatars. Eliminating gender restrictions grants them more agency in choosing their characters' appearance, aligning with the desire for personalized experiences.
Reflecting Evolving Values: The game is a reflection of an uptight American society in 2003 where SOE had to "preserve" a star wars image. Thankfully that was trashed by disney and a fan game wont do anything. Removing these restrictions in the game reflects this societal shift, signaling a commitment to modern values.

Plus fat man in a dress waving sparklers is funny.
Motivation
I want my fat hill billy wearing slave leia "battle armor". I cant and there is seriously zero game play reason not to.
The game is a sandbox. Lets remove it gender requirements on clothing.

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
Pretty sure the issue with this is the models of the characters whilst making them be able to wear dresses or anything that requires a bigger than flat chest.
However if it can be done there's no reason not to.

Just to back up Reevesy here. Aconite has stated that the intention is there to remove the gender restrictions, but there are updates to the art assets that need to happen first and that requires artists that they are short on currently. (His last statement on this was about a month ago.)

This is approved. We’ve already announced our intention to do this. Implementation is tricky as it involves creating male/female body type skeletal variations of the wearable’s meshes to properly work with the occlusion of other skeletal layers. This work is time consuming and requires an asset artist to dedicate time to, so we aren’t able to offer a timeline on when this will be complete, but we fully support the idea and wish to see it implemented on our server. Because this is something all servers can benefit from, we hope to collaborate with other servers to achieve this on the common wearables shared between the SWG game client and will support open source distribution of that work to the extent we can.
