- Proposal
- Weapons should have their profession restrictions removed, but leave it on those that absolutely require it for one reason or another.
- Justification
- This change will allow players to use weapons that they want without being forced into a specific build that they might not like.
- Motivation
- A lot of weapons in this game are without profession restrictions. Some players like to take certain lines from a profession when building their character without fully mastering it and at the same time use the weapon they want.
Players should be able to use/equip any weapon they want without going for a specific box that they might not even need for their desired build.
As an example let's say i want to use this really cool rifle, but it requires me to become a Master Squad Leader. As far as i know, this weapon has no real benefits and locking it behind a specifc profession seems unreasonable to me.
I do understand that there are some weapons that might need these restrictions. Like grenades for example, since they have special attributes:
This is a small QoL improvement, but i think it's pretty nice and it gives people more freedom in this game.
Please let me know what you think.
