Meet with the droid chip buyer in the Kessel System
Recommended combat level: 1
You will receive an in-game popup as soon as you accept the quest.
The droid reluctantly informed you that the droid chips are being sent to the Kessel system to be transferred to the buyer.
Once you hit
OK, the quest updates.
Go to the Kessel System
Deliver droid chips to buyer in Kessel System
- Launch your ship and travel to the appropriate system for your faction in order to hyperspace to the Kessel System
- Imperial pilots:
- Contact the Imperial Claw Station, Endor System (Nearest Hyperspace Point: Durillium Sea)
- Freelance pilots:
- Contact the Last Nav Station, in the Dathomir System (Nearest Hyperspace Point: Dathomir's Vitality)
- Rebel pilots:
- Contact the Deep Space Station, Dantooine System (Nearest Hyperspace Point: Dantooine's Wrath)
- Once you arrive to the Kessel System, you will be given a waypoint - go to it
- After reaching the waypoint, a transport will hyperspace it
- Target the transport and communicate with it to start the escort mission
- enter
/comm to communicate with the transport
- As you escort the transport, you will be ambushed by Tier 5 and Tier 8 Droid Fighters
You do not need to destroy all of the ships to complete this step. As long as the transport makes it to the end of its route.
- Once the transport reaches the end of its route, it will hyperspace out and the quest will update

- Return to the Nova Orion Industries droid on the Nova Orion station
- Once you arrive, speak with the Nova Orion Industries droid
a Nova Orion Industries droid: You again. What do you want, mean human?
You: I met your droid chip buyer. They asked for The Droid Engineer. Are you The Droid Engineer?
a Nova Orion Industries droid: Me? Oh heavens no. I am not even human like he is. Or rather, what Droid Engineer?
This completes the quest. Speak with the Nova Orion Industries droid again to progress the questline.
a Nova Orion Industries droid: How may I not help you? I need to finish my quota for my shift.
You: You said The Droid Engineer was human. So you really do know who I'm talking about.
a Nova Orion Industries droid: I really need to stop doing that.
You: Give up the goods or you know what will happen.
a Nova Orion Industries droid: Yes, yes. Alright. I am aware of The Droid Engineer. He is stationed here but I have never met him. He places orders of droid chips that have additional programming that only he can override. That is all I know. I just manufacture and program the droid chips.
