This quest starts Agent Ember's questline from the
Ace of Aces space content.

To start this questline, speak with Agent Ember, who will be at the back of the Idiot's Array lounge.

Agent Ember: Can I trust you? I've been waiting for a trustworthy pilot who can keep their mouth shut.
You: You have? Who are you?
Agent Ember: Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The less you know the better.
You: What's going on?
Agent Ember: My field operative hasn't checked in. We have been putting together threads of intel for months and finally traced them back to Deep Space. Will you go see what you can find?
You: Yeah, I'll go check it out.

Travel to the Deep Space System
Patrol the area in Deep Space
- Launch your ship and travel to the appropriate system for your faction in order to hyperspace to Deep Space
- Imperial pilots:
- Contact the Imperial Claw Station, Endor System (Nearest Hyperspace Point: Durillium Sea)
- Freelance pilots:
- Contact the Last Nav Station, in the Dathomir System (Nearest Hyperspace Point: Dathomir's Vitality)
- Rebel pilots:
- Contact the Deep Space Station, Dantooine System (Nearest Hyperspace Point: Dantooine's Wrath)
- Once you arrive to Deep Space, your quest will update
Search for Missing Operative
Agent Ember asked you to investigate Deep Space for the missing Operative
- You will be given a waypoint - go to it
- Once you reach that waypoint, you will be given another one - go to that one
- After you reach the 2nd waypoint, you will be ambushed by 10 Tier 5 Droid Fighters and your quest will update
Surprise Attack! Destroy the Attack Ships
All attacking ships must be destroyed!
- Destroy all 10 Droid Fighters and you will receive an in-game popup

OK, the quest updates.
Return to Agent Ember
Return to Agent Ember on Corellia
- Return to Agent Ember in the Idiot's Array lounge
- Once you arrive, speak with Agent Ember
Agent Ember: What happened?
You: It was an ambush and I barely escaped alive.
Agent Ember: Somebody does not want us unraveling this thread.
This completes the quest. Speak with Agent Ember again to progress the questline.
Agent Ember: Did you find anything else?
You: I did receive an encrypted message from a Deep Space beacon that read: X UD FT MYILRCRI
Agent Ember: Now that's something. Great work, Ace. We'll have to find the cipher key to decrypt it. My contact was stationed in Coronet. See what you can find there.
