Description:
Find and tame a wild rancor, then lead it back to the Nightsister/Singing Mountain Clan corral. Only some rancors are suitable for taming: Gnarled Rancors, Rancors, Pygmy Rancors, and Rancor Youths.
Recommended combat level: 1
Find and Tame a rancor
Tame a rancor in the wilds and lead it back to the Nightsister/Singing Mountain Clan corral.
- You need to find a Gnarled Rancor, Rancor, Pygmy Rancor, or Rancor Youth and dance/play your instrument to tame it
- You have 60 minutes to complete this task
If you tamed the rancor successfully, it will then start to follow you slowly, every 60 seconds there will be an on-screen message regarding the state of the rancor.
You only need to pay attention to the message saying that
you are about to lose control.
- This means that the rancor will attack you in a few seconds
You will need to keep your rancor calm and lead it back to the
Nightsister/
Singing Mountain Clan Stronghold to the waypoint provided in the quest.
Once you have escorted the rancor back to the
Nightsister/
Singing Mountain Clan Stronghold, the quest will complete.
Reward:
You make speak with
Rancor Tamer Diax, for the
Nightsisters faction, or
Rancor Tamer Zideera, for the
Singing Mountain Clan faction, again to repeat this quest.
