This idea/suggestion has been flagged as Not Implemented because of a lack of popularity, lack of interest, lack of feasibility, or other determination by the Development Team, so the suggestion will not be implemented. Once a suggestion has been flagged this way, the decision is final. Although the issue may be raised again in the future after a six month cooldown. AFK sampling is just lazy game play that I personally don’t want to see in Resto.

I agree with this statement. There is a reason this server and its economy work they way they do. If you are willing to put in the time/effort to hand-sample and keep yourself from auto-logging due to AFK, that is the benefit you reap. If you can't, then spend some time farming credits and then buy the resources you need. If everyone could have everything they wouldn't have put a 3 (or 4 if one is Jedi) character limit on your account.
It's already about three hours with a proper macro if I remember correctly. As someone who has a crafter character with no harvesters, I can't support this idea.
One of the worst memories I have of the old system is the endless fields of afk samplers.
The macro/ afk policy is one of the things that I think makes Resto better than other servers - the proposed change would be a negative one, in my opinion.
