Ways for Non Jedi to fight Jedi
This idea/suggestion is Open. You can respond to ask questions or discuss the idea and either vote it up or down if you believe it should or should not be implemented, respectively. Popular suggestions and ideas will be considered by the development team to become reality in-game.
Proposal
Add new abilities or items to be used by normal professions so that groups have a better chance at fighting jedi.
Justification
Bring balance to the class system so players dont feel like their class picks dont matter.
Motivation
I won't lie. Facing an overwhelming number or jedi while your team can only field a few makes GCW not as fun. I don't mind being the underdog but it feels so one sided as to be mostly un-fun.
At this time in pvp it feels like Non-Jedi characters are mostly useless in GCW. Jedi are powerful and as it should be, but it seems like there are more jedi running around in GCW then non-jedi.
I do not have a specific solution but I would like to put a voice out there and say maybe tools should be granted to non jedi to help a team bring down jedi.
 
I don't particularly like this idea. The ordinary profession should not be able to take n a Jedi alone. Not even a BH. The best memory I had in live is when 2 BHs caught up with me and we have a massive fight that lasted 45 mins and it was essentially a draw. Thank God a third BH didn't happen along.

In PvP ... Jedi were always the first targeted. So that neutralized the treat from Jedi.
Unfortunately this isn't live and when there are 5 Jedi, "Focusing the jedi first" isn't particularly productive.

I really like the Idea Monkey mentioned about resistance but that doesn't really solve the problem as Jedi would still be hell to kill, as a Non-jedi you just might not get melted instantly.

As a non-jedi It does currently feel like there isn't much punishment for visibility, but once again that is another issue.

Someone mentioned the empire glassing a planet if they knew a Jedi was in a specific spot, I don't hate the idea of maybe a colonel/general GCW ability to call in and orbital strike, maybe on a obscenely long cooldown

If there is a lot of Jedi in any specific battle, I would think Jedi would target other Jedi and not be overly worried about Non Jedi. That would give non Jedi a longer life span.

I was only a Squad Leader for a brief time in live and never since. So I do not know what their capabilities are on R3, but perhaps squad leader can have a command like "concentrate fire" (or anything along that line) where ranged team members, either by choice or forced to, coordinate their fire power on a specific target? That would give Ranged, and maybe melee, a more impactful contribution in PvP. Make dots, blind, dizzy stack-able. I think spamming KD is a step to far.

Defense maybe a little boost to give non Jedi some longevity in a fight.

I just think making a non-Jedi character on par with a Jedi is not right. BTW ... I have not opened my Jedi slot yet. Still stuck on Part B. So I am not bias here.
