The problem with these restrictions is that only 2 professions can wear it. Like "I will be fencer and wear mando armor when i get it! ", but then you get your hopes crushed because you have to play BH like everyone else or crippled Commando

Isn't the solution to that to make more cool options for players to select from, rather than limit the few cool options? Other than the recon/assault/battle mitigation mechanics of course.

Technically there are 2 Mando sets with Battle certifications which are in GCW thing and this Mando Relic Armor in a state of floating(JarJar wanted to make it recon), just need them to be added. Also SL and Ranger still forgotten ...

Removing the class restriction will make it less meaningful. "Play anything and wear anything" mentality will water down the game and just become another Legends
not really, making it less meaningful would be making the grind to get the armor stupidly easy or giving free away mando armor like some pre cu servers, this is just to make the choice of playing your favourite class and wearing that fancy armor you hard worked to get. Also with the current restrictions the only viable class who can wear it is BH, which already has been the most popular class regardless of the mando armor

There is the mitigation mechanic, its there and makes sense. It makes no sense to say you can't put on a particular piece of clothing because you aren't a certain profession. Can I not put on America Football pads, just because I'm a rugby player? Pre-NGE is classless, you can't have class defined gear.

why do people keep referring to pre-cu? This game is cu/nge. if it was pre-cu we would have elemental weps that matter need buffs to wear armor and kill anything etc.

the whole profession system is pre-cu based, thx god because if not we would have a shitty 6 classes system, jedi included :ROFLMAO:

I misstyped Pre-NGE out of habit. If you were talking about my comments, thats why

CU was inbetween Pre CU and NGE.

Some elements of CU likely were important from Pre CU but since this is stepping back from NGE, some of that is lost.

Consideration for this, in my opinion, would be that since Mandalorian Armor is Assault - it should be allowable to Squad Leader since the original 4 classes that could wear it were Commando, Bounty Hunter, Squad Leader, and Ranger.

Since Ranger is Battle armor - Squad Leader would be a reasonable add. I assume the later Commando/Bounty Hunter qualification were in NGE? My personal interest would be having it allowed for armoursmith given Mandalorian lore but that's probably up to interpretation.

I think overall, Mandalorian Armor should keep it's qualifications as long as the upcoming Mandalorian Relic, Rebel Crusader, and Imperial Crusader leave open to be used aesthetically for others.

Edit: spelling
