Proposal
Proposed Changes to Neutrals:
1. Extend flagging down timers from special forces to 5 minutes to align with other factions.
2. Have neutrals show on the war pad when flagged for special forces.
3. Require going to the appropriate recruiter to step down from combatant state to the civilian state.
4. Have neutrals names flash when flagging up and down just like other factions. (If this is a bug then this is just proposing to fix this bug. )
Justification
Align neutrals to match faction standards for staging up and down from Combatant/Special Forces states so all factions are equal or lack of a faction doesn't gives added benefits when flagging for the GCW.
Motivation
Aiming to create a fair and balanced game experiences for all.
This player voice aims to align the standards for staging up and down for participation for the GCW.

You DO realize that both factions can flag down by using /pvp right?

Right??
Aye, with a difference in timers, and not from combatant down to on leave/neutral.

My point is this inconsistency seems arbitrary and pointless and seems a poor substitute for actual neutral PvP rewards.

Can you explain this statement specifically please. Is it possible that you were under the impression up until 5 mins ago that members of factions needed to visit a recruiter but neutrals did not? Because it really seems like that from where i'm sitting.

make neutral perma SF. if you come within 64m of one of us toxic neutrals you go SF.
5 min CD on faction swap with a SOLID FUCKING BLINK cause that's key to all this....... gotta love a pvp PV backed by a group of people that don't even PVP. get a life. I can understand the frustration with the no blink as we flag up, but how is this any different from a BH standing next to you..... only in this case you are a consenting PVP individual as YOU have chosen to be SF at that time. Just be more aware of your surroundings if it concerns you. God forbid we try to dive a little more pvp action on here. Might be time to go mass upvote the the space and entertainer ideas you all hate so much.

For a flagged up Imp/Reb, they have to find an NPC or die to go on leave, but neutrals do not have to die or find same said NPC to go back neutral. In addition, the factional player's SF flag down takes five times longer, meaning it is easier/faster to make yourself unattackable as a neutral after engaging in PvP.

I don't think flagging discrepancies are good stand-ins from solving the issue of rewards, and it *does* leave open an advantage, even if you're not abusing it. What's the upside of not making this change?

As Remis said earlier, whether its 5 minutes or 1 minute doesnt matter in the least because you can just mount up and drive in a straight line while flagging down.

On that note, neutrals CANT flag down while moving and factional players can. So a factional player who is SF can flag down and never need to stop. A neutral is at a major disadvantage here.

It wouldn't waste developer time with frivolous changes

I would support changing that too lol, I'd just like to see it consistent.

Same with the Intel pad; if neutrals don't affect GCW, don't show them. If they do, show them.

I am new to SWG, but I'm a veteran of two decades of MMORPG and PvP games. Consistency is key to successful PvP games. I don't mean there's no flavor between different factions or PvP types, but framework items like this should be consistent imo.

I know there's some bad blood between folks, but that's not really my motivation here my dude.

Alright since we didn't listen to Aconite I'll be closing this PV.

This is supposed to be about ideas and constructive criticism about those ideas. This is not a place for you to attempt to troll/flame each other.

With that being said..
1. Neutral names not flashing can be adjusted, we will discuss internally
2. Neutrals that join as a MERCENARY aren't part of the GCW
2a. They have different sets of rules and restrictions than a factional member
